KASU Students Peaceful Protest Over School Fee Increment Day 2





Kaduna State University (KASU), Students still hold a 2nd day peaceful demonstration protest over the Increment of school fee at the main campus of the University.

The students matches from convocation ground to all others angle and halt at the Vice Chancellor Complex of the University singing and clapping hands  expressing how the new fee is unfavorable to them.

Many students who turn out for the protest hold card carrying tags expressing their feeling toward the Increment, some of the write up in the cards were "100k no be #1, I no see food chop were I go get 100k, education is our right not previlage" and so on.

Since over the proposed schools fee increment by the state Government, students union of the University has follow measure by consulting Religious leaders, other government officials, traditional rulers to intervene and talk to the state Government to revised the proposed fee.

But still yet it didn't yield a positive results, because the school fee was not review to be affordable by the students,  the maximum fee is now slated for #400,000 and minimum #150,000 for new students while returning Students are to pay #100,000 both indigene and non indigene.
