SPEECH DELIVERED BY COMR. TAJUDDEEN KABIR, PRESIDENT-ELECT, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF KADUNA STATE STUDENTS DURING THE INAUGURATION OF NAKASS 2020/2021 ADMINISTRATION AT 1000 SEATER CAPACITY THEATRE OF KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY ON THURSDAY 25TH MARCH, 2021
PROTOCOLS……………
I want to start by thanking God Almighty who in his infinite mercy & awesome wonders make it possible,after conducting the election Long time ago, to be inaugurated as NAKASS executives and Senators. We pray that the delay due to the spread of the global pandemic, should be a blessing in disguise. I want to very warmly thank our parents & families for their countless support & training making who are today.
It’s a new dawn indeed, as I want to use this medium to acknowledge and appreciate the outgoing executives and senators, for their effort during their administration.
I want to thank all people for their spirit of comradeship. I also want to thank the entire Electoral Committee led by the able Chairman in the Person of Comr Alhassan Ishaq Qauran Mata for conducting a peaceful, free and fair election which brought us to power.
I also want to thank the Amiable leadership of all the local chapters, Senators and Stakeholders who stood for what is right and made sure that the the mandate of the Kaduna State Students is not eluded, We are entirely grateful.
I want to also appreciate the press who took out time to come over and show solidarity to all Kaduna State Students. I also would like to thank all Nigerian Students who left their campuses and stood under the rain and sun for days all in making sure the mandate of their Kaduna State counterparts is protected, I am mostly grateful.
I want to also thank all the Security men and women ranging from the Nigeria Police Force, the Directorate of State Security, KADVS who made sure that the the security of us all remained paramount during the convention, we can never be more grateful.
I also want to reiterate that my administration would remain resolute in making sure that the mandate bestowed on us is utilized for the good, we are coming on board as Representatives of the Students, expected to cater for their academic and social welfare, this we will surely do with all materials & resources at our disposal without compromise to the dictates of struggle.
We must commend the wonderful initiatives of the Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa'i's led administration in the educational sector, but as leaders of those who are been educated, we will interface with government and its numerous agencies to ensure that the best is always given to our students. We have received series of complains with regards to some policies of the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board. One of our first task will be to respectfully engage the board and see how we can come together to serve Kaduna State Students better. We believe most of the problems talked about are due to lack of orientation, this we will equally massively do.
I also would like to state here that there is no Victor and no Vanquished. Our election is a Victory for all, and I call on all for us to work together in Harmony
To the Senators who voted me, Thank you
To those who did not, I also would love to say Thank you because you all believed in whatever we stood for, and as such I Promise to be a President to all.
