The Kaduna State Government has enter into partnership with Kaduna State University (KASU), In its quest toward achieving one of the education sectors term for reference in improving access to quality education with specific emphasis to health related course to offer scholarship to Kaduna State students.
Considering the accreditation of the faculty of Medicine, and the huge amount of resources spent in training nurses and medical doctors in some countries oversea.
The Kaduna State Government then decided to redirect such foreign exchange investment in to KASU for the development of it's school of medical facilities.
The scholarship will cover payment of tuition fees and monthly payment of #20,000 for the up keep of the students. The successful candidates must maintain a 3.5 CGPA at all times.
The available slots for the scholarship are:
1. MBBS Medicine and Surgery 46
2. B.Sc. Pharmacy 35
3. B.Sc. Nursing 35
4. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Scinces 35
5. B.Sc. Radiography and Radiotion Scinces 35
6. D. Physiotherapy 35
Scholarship Requirements
1. Must have choose Kaduna State University
2. Must score 200 in JAMB
3. Subject combination includes: English language, biology, chemistry and physics.
4. 5 credits in Olevel not let's than two sitting, including English, biology, physics and chemistry.
